It's ugly, but it's true. If there is a way to advertise, a way to get the company name in someone's face, folks will exploit it. One of the more novel aspects of the burgeoning Web community is the banner ad.
You see them everywhere, usually narrow horizontal animated ads at the top (or bottom, or middle) of a page. A click on the ad transports you to a new Web site hawking some product that you MUST have.
But before we get too self-righteous, it should be pointed out that we will GLADLY create one of these ads for you!

This page, no doubt, will be slow to load. Keep in mind that your page would probably have only one or two banners on it.
